Doh!
Missed updating yesterday.
Nothing happened. Stayed in room all day. Was going to get Berne's "Games People Play" but decided against it. Might get it today. Probably will.
Debating cold approach philosophically. I realize that I do it because I need validation. But girls don't want to give you validation. That's not what theyre in it for. So you have a total mismatch if you try to go into it for validation. But without winning validation whats the point? Even if you just say to have sex, thats some sort of validation.
So yeah, I guess its about validation. You just have to hide that you need it I guess. It is also about personal development as mentioned.
Because yeah when I was in that bar on Friday, there were plenty of girls I could have approached. I just couldnt think of anything to say so I didn't.
Anyway today I think we might be back in the coffee shop.

I started this blog a year ago during summertime living alone in a city. The idea of using the blog as motivation and protection in exposing myself to the uncertainties of the social atmosphere of strangers was the starting reason for the blog. I slacked off and finished my last year of school and now we are back. The idea is to live; to overcome social anxiety and low self-esteem and insecurities and introversion and to just try. To crash and burn. And of course to chronicle it all right here. The way it will work is before going out to local bars alone around 9 or 10 I will start a post with a 'pre' write describing my feelings and motivations. Then I will do a post write upon return. Enjoy and be inspired.
[Old About:] My goal is to cold approach one woman per day for the rest of the summer. By 'cold approach' I mean to start a conversation in a social public place (like a bar, park, book store) in a nonchalant and friendly manner. Although sex is undeniable as a factor, the overall purpose is accelerated personal growth. At the end of the summer I will have approached 60+ women, have 60+ stories to tell (which will all be chronicled right here) and hopefully will be the wiser for it.
